I want to talk a little bit about Rx`ing, scaling and CrossFit,Progressing along and comparing yourself to other members and or yourself…ok so where do I start? We are all different, we progress differently.. to compare yourself especially to someone who has been doing CrossFit for a longer period of time or is younger then you or who may have great genetics may be a Death Sentence or failure before you even start CrossFit. Better yet even if you have been here for a while and not progressing quite as well as the guy or gal next to you. May represent that ideal.
CrossFit is about You and the best that You can be, not fred,bill or nancy ITS YOU! IF YOU GIVE YOUR HEART YOUR SOUL AND BELIEVE there is no one that can touch you because (you are) unique. Be easy on yourself, the trainers are here to inspire you, to tap that little extra that is hidden inside you. (and to piss you off a little bit!) I know that for me I am not so much thinking about Today I am thinking that if i do the best at my wod`s, stretch, floss, rollout and continue to learn and Eat appropriately staying away from the extremes and realize I truly am doing as well as i can for myself I cant lose, but if i go out of those parameters, I am sure to fail.
I personally am into the Anti-Aging aspect along with short intense workouts (which by the way raise your hormone levels across the board) will keep me active as i get even f*^%n older so that with proper supplementation added in I will fight the odds I will win!
